Delicious Bass is a dynamic ensemble of accomplished bass clarinetists committed to redefining the boundaries of their instrument. Based in New York City, the group has performed in diverse venues, from concert halls to experimental spaces, and is dedicated to commissioning and performing contemporary works. Delicious Bass believes in the power of collaboration and innovation to bring fresh perspectives to classical and contemporary music. 

Delicious Bass has a monthly residency at Silvana in South Harlem, where the ensemble performs and workshops new music. Through this residency the ensemble brings the power and resonance of the bass clarinet to new audiences in an accessible space. The ensemble was featured at the International Clarinet Association’s 2025 Low Clarinet Festival in Glendale, Arizona where they performed a recital of exciting new works and arrangements for bass clarinet.  In February, we will premier three new works as a guest ensemble in collaboration with the Plattsburgh Clarinet Choir.
